The Woman on Fire

Four digits, and four clues towards numbers on the back of the burnt up note…they must be related! In fact, some of the answers may be on the front of this very same note, so it may be prudent to tape it together, or take a picture of one side before flipping it over. Also, might help to check who this note is addressed to, because it’s probably their lock box.

At the top of the front of the burnt note, we can just see that this note was given to Emmett. Makes sense that the reminder clues for the lockbox were left by him. The lockbox code given to him on this welcome note ends in 8. The landlord website shows that George Southerly owns 6 buildings (the only character in this case who owns buildings). From his lease we can see Emmett moved in on the 2nd.  And finally the invitation to Taylor Gelding’s cremation, the day of mourning, is on the 5th. Giving us 8625 for our code.
